How does the laser epilation work in our beauty salon?

Preparation for laser epilation

At least a month before the procedure it is necessary to stop waxing, sugaring, using epilator and tweezers. During this time, only a razor or depilatory cream can be used.
Before the procedure, all hair on the treated areas should be shaved off. Even if this area is above the upper lip or on the chin.
It is important to limit sunbathing in direct sunlight for at least 7 days before the procedure.

How many laser epilation sessions are needed for complete hair removal?

Usually 7-11 treatments are required to completely remove the hair.
The number of treatments depends on the alternating stages of hair growth, the area and personal characteristics of your body, so the amount is individual in each case.
With each new session, the interval between treatments increases. We start with 5-5.5 weeks and reach an interval of up to 4 months between treatments.
After completing the course, only maintenance treatments will be required and twice a year.

Skin care after laser epilation

After the procedure, it is necessary to limit sunbathing in direct sunlight for at least 4 days. After that, feel free to sunbathe using an SPF 50 sunscreen, safe in the knowledge that your skin is safe.
Refrain from going to the sunbed for 2 weeks after laser hair removal.

Result and effect after laser epilation

The result of laser hair removal is visible after the first treatment. Hair growth is 30-40% less . The effect gradually increases and improves after each treatment.

By the middle of the course, you will forget about irritation after shaving and ingrown hairs. Your hair will grow so slowly and in such small quantities that you will shave about once every 2 weeks.

After completing a series of treatments, it is necessary to attend maintenance treatments of diode laser hair removal once every 6-12 months. In this case, you will be able to maintain the effect of smooth skin after laser epilation always, for life!

Is laser epilation safe?

Laser epilation - is a perfectly safe method of hair removal when all the rules and instructions are followed. Only qualified beauticians with many years of experience work in our salon and only certified equipment is used. So you can be sure of safety for your skin and a result without side effects.

Can laser hair removal be performed during pregnancy?

It would be best to skip laser treatments during pregnancy.
Diode laser is considered safe for the child and there are no known cases to prove otherwise. However, stress is not very good for a pregnant woman. Modern laser machines are equipped with an excellent cooling system, which makes the procedure more comfortable than before. However, even so, the young mother may experience stress from the new procedure or discomfort.

Can laser epilation be performed during breastfeeding ?

During breastfeeding, laser hair removal is unnecessary because the hormone prolactin increases, which affects the activity of hair follicles. Achieving the desired result during this period is extremely difficult. However, during breastfeeding, laser hair removal is possible to maintain comfort without having to undergo a whole series of treatments.

Can Laser epilation also be performed in the presence of tattoos?

The part of the skin with the tattoo is omitted, laser beams on this area are excluded. Therefore, this procedure is safe for our customers.

Is there anything prohibited before laser epilation?

It is not recommended to sunbathe in direct sunlight for at least 7 days before laser hair removal to avoid the risk of burns. For laser hair removal to be effective, you must eliminate the use of tweezers and waxing or sugar paste at least one month before the procedure.

Nízká selektivita laserů – Staré modely laserů byly méně účinné v rozlišení melaninu, což zvyšovalo riziko poškození opálené kůže.
